Griffin Scott

Griffin Scott was born at 9:10 am on Monday, November 5th. He weighed 10 lbs 1 oz and was 21 inches long (and mommy's epidural didn't numb the birth canal)! Mommy is doing fine, and Griffin is working on getting rid of some jaundice. He was allowed to come home, but we have to use light therapy in form of a "biliblanket." This blanket is kept on him 24 hours a day and allows light into his bloodstream to break apart the bilirubin in his blood. We have a nurse coming in to draw blood and hopefully we can have a baby that doesn't have to be "plugged in" soon! He looks like a cute little glow worm (Sophie's LOVING it!). We are enjoying our little bundle. He's a sweetheart. So far, he sleeps a lot due to the jaundice, but we know his personality will be emerging very soon. He looks almost identical to Sophie when she was born. But was just a tad bigger!!! Enjoy the pictures of the newest Nyman!
